It's Autumn time, it's Autumn time

Addie loves the leaves this year! We were going to go to the store but she saw the leaves and wouldn't leave them for 30 minutes. She's so fun and loves to explore and experience every new thing. She will grab a whole handful and then say 'uh, uh, go!' (ready, set, go) and throw them into the air. It's too cute.

The leaves are falling down

The Pulley's Entertainment Center

Jardin went up to Logan to build the Pulley's entertainment center on April 29th. Addie and I joined him that Saturday after my student's Concerto Competition. He built it extremely quick and was able to finish building it the following Monday, May 3rd. We, however, didn't get home til Thursday night because...we hate painting!!! So many things went wrong when Jar went to paint it and we ending up staying there 3 days longer. It was great to be with Jeff and Chelsi and the kids though and we are so happy that it turned out so perfect. Good job Jardin!

Just for Fun

These are mine and Jardin's favorite pictures of our pre-marriage life, we especially like the top left photo. We had so many fun dates including this one.

We were on a double date with our friend Leah McCormmick and went to Costa Vida and then bowling at Phat Catz in Provo.

The whole night was filled with fun talk and fun times. I love how the little things in life are the most meaningful!

Addie's First Birthday Party-April 3, 2010

Addie's first birthday was a fun one. Her favorite part was playing with the balloons and opening presents (she liked ripping the paper more than the actual presents). The worst part of the Bday was that Addie refused to get messy with her cake. She's just so dainty and didn't like touching the icing. She got 3 dresses and a pair of green jelly shoes from Grandma and Grandpa Christenson, another dress and a book from Grandma and Grandpa Gleason, yet another dress from aunt and uncle Pulley, a cute flowered outfit from aunt Amy, a big purple bouncy ball from uncle Mckay and a new carseat from Jardin and I. All in all, it was a fantastic birthday!

Addie's little friend

Addie has a new favorite toy, her doggie backpack. She gives it more hugs and kisses than us and loves to have it on her back while she walks around the house. Too cute!

Valentine's stickers

Addie got some stickers in the mail from her cousins in Elk Ridge. I put them on her hands and face and she loved them! They kept her entertained for quite awhile. Thanks Crippens!

Like Mother, Like Daughter

Everyone always says how much Addie looks like Jardin and I totally agreed until I found this old photo of me when I was 6 months old. I must have given her some of her cutes!

Christmas 2009

Christmas is always fun but it's even better when you have a baby to share it with. Although Addie had no idea what was going on and loved the wrapping paper better than her gifts, it was wonderful having her with us this year!

ADELINE NICHOLE GLEASON

We wanted to do a new born photo shoot for Addie but after everything that happened we decided to wait until she was completely healthy and off her oxygen. So at four months our good friend Jessica Bateman did a 20 minute shoot. Addie did really well at first but quickly got irritated. Luckily Jess is an awesome photographer and was able to capture some great moments-including the ornery ones.

Addie's First Photo Shoot

Bows....The BIGGER the BETTER!

Addie's start

Adeline Nichole Gleason was born at 2:31 am on April 3, 2009. She was 8 lbs. oz. and 21 inches long. She had quite a bit of dark hair and the most gorgeous eyebrows! A few minutes after her birth, however, they rushed her away on oxygen for tests. She had aspirated blood and had collapsed lungs, she had pneumonia, and she had a bacteria in her blood that the doctors said was so advanced that she must have been sick for about a week before she was born. Needless to say, it was a rough start for our little baby.

Soon after the tests, they decided she needed to be life-flighted to the NICU at Utah Valley Hospital. I, however, had to stay at the AF hospital and wasn't able to see her again for a couple days. When I was able to see her to doctors had put her into a drug induced coma and said that 99% of babies they see come into the NICU were healthier than she was. That was extremely hard to hear and seeing her limp body attached to so many machines was even worse.

After many prayers, fasts, blessings and time, she healed however. She did come home on oxygen and stayed on it for about a month in a half. However, looking at her now, you would never have known that she had such a bad start. She is a healthy 21 lbs and is very active and energetic. We know the Lord loves us and is watching over us and we are grateful!

Welcome to the World Addie!
